The Award Categories

  • Does your team have strong content partnerships with students? Are you embedding high impact, authentic student content into your campaigns? Do you harness the voice of existing students to tailor your offering and design your campaign delivery?

This category is for institutions leading innovative and high impact marketing collaboration with existing and prospective students. The winner will be able to demonstrate the quality of their student collaborations, how they are using innovative student-led content within campaigns and how they are able to translate authentic student content into real results on engagement and conversion.

This category can apply to all forms of content output whether that be an innovative social media campaign, the work of student creators themselves or an effective approach to capturing the student voice across a campaign.

    Judges will be looking for:

Evidence of strong partnerships and collaboration with students.

Examples of new and innovative approaches to embedding student creators into a campaign.

Distinctiveness in how an institution deployed student collaboration to build authentic and engaging approaches to connecting with an audience.

Demonstrable results on how student collaboration led to enhanced outcomes on engagement, conversion or recruitment.

  • Are values and ethics at the heart of your campaign? Are you connecting with prospective students by linking your brand to your values? Are you successfully engaging with your audience on values-based content marketing?

This category is for institutions who are successfully demonstrating values within their content marketing campaigns and translating that into successful outcomes with their audience. The winner will demonstrate how distinct values-based content marketing has led to enhanced results on engagement, conversion or brand recognition.

    Judges will be looking for:

Evidence of distinct institution-wide or departmental values

Examples of how values are successfully embedded into a content marketing campaign

Examples of values as being central to a brand positioning or offering

Clear results in how a values-led content campaign translated to improved engagement, interaction or conversion

  • Has your team developed a content campaign that has led to strong levels of growth in engagement? Has your faculty or institution undergone a process of transformation in your content engagement strategy that has led to significant improvement?

This category is for teams that can demonstrate exceptional growth in engagement and interaction levels as a result of a content campaign. The winner will be able to showcase how they transformed their content campaigning, what the steps to enhancement were and how a new approach led to significant growth in engagement.

    Judges will be looking for:

A clear example of the design and development of a new approach to content-led campaigning

Evidence of how research and market insight were used to lead a strategy for improvement

  • Do you know that person in your team that has supported exceptional results or is consistently driving innovation in content marketing? Or are you someone who feels that their achievements stand out in the sector, with clear examples of fresh approaches on content output?

This category is designed for a top tier performer who has been at the forefront of content marketing in the sector. It could be someone who is starting out in their career and has demonstrated themselves as a rising star or an established member of your marketing team who deserves recognition for their talent and achievements.

The winner will be a content marketer at the top of their game, with strong evidence of their creativity, innovative thinking and performance within your institution.

For this category you can nominate yourself or a member of your team.

    Judges will be looking for:

An exceptional talent in content marketing who has consistently showcased innovation and fresh thinking.

An individual capable of standing out as a sector leading marketer with cutting-edge ideas.

An individual that deserves recognition for their talent and scale of their contribution.

  • This is this big one! We are looking for the best content marketing team in the higher education sector for 2024. This could be a faculty marketing team or an institution as a whole. We are looking for top-class performers that can showcase why they are delivering the best content marketing across the higher education sector.

It may be that you have overcome significant challenges and turned around your content strategy. It could be that you are consistent performers and always leading the way with fresh ideas that support real results. Or maybe you are a really well-oiled machine, with a cohesive content marketing team delivering high levels of traction with your audience.

We want to hear your unique story, what your team has done differently and why your content marketing team deserves to be recognised as the best in the sector.

    Judges will be looking for:

A team that stands out for innovation, fresh ideas and distinctiveness.

A team that performs to a high standard or is able to demonstrate a significant transformation.
